Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Rebecca Chow Regulation and Reiki, including TRE® (Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises) and reiki.

By booking or attending a session, you agree to these terms.

 

2. Nature of Services

TRE® and reiki are complementary approaches designed to support wellbeing, relaxation, and nervous system regulation.

  • These services are not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment

  • No specific outcomes or results can be guaranteed

  • You are responsible for consulting your GP or other qualified healthcare provider regarding any medical concerns

 

3. Client Responsibility

By attending sessions, you confirm that:

  • You have provided accurate and up-to-date information about your health

  • You will inform us of any changes to your physical or mental health

  • You take full responsibility for your own wellbeing during and after sessions

  • You will communicate if you feel discomfort or wish to stop at any time

Participation in TRE® and other practices is voluntary, and you remain in control throughout.

 

4. Booking and Payment

  • Sessions must be booked in advance

  • Payment is required in advance (or on the day if specifically requested)

  • Prices are listed on your website and may be updated at any time

  • Accepted payment methods: bank transfer, cash, through online booking system

 

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling

  • A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment

  • Cancellations made with less than the required notice will be charged in full

  • Missed appointments (no-shows) are non-refundable

We understand that unexpected circumstances arise and may use discretion in exceptional cases.

 

6. Late Arrival

If you arrive late, your session may be shortened to avoid impacting other clients. The full session fee will still apply.

 

7. Confidentiality

All personal information and session content will be treated as confidential, in line with our Privacy Policy.

Information may only be disclosed if:

  • You give explicit consent

  • There is a legal or safeguarding obligation (e.g. risk of serious harm)

 

8. Health & Safety

  • Please inform us of any injuries, medical conditions, or pregnancy prior to your session

  • TRE® and certain practices ARE NOT suitable for everyone so we must be made aware of mental health problems, heart conditions, epilepsy, blood pressure issues. Sessions will be adapted where appropriate for other health conditions

  • We reserve the right to decline or discontinue a session if it is not in your best interest or is deemed unsafe

 

9. Liability

  • All services are provided with care and professionalism; however, results cannot be guaranteed

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rebecca Chow accepts no liability for any injury, loss, or damages resulting from participation in sessions, except where caused by negligence

 

10. Code of Conduct

We are committed to providing a safe and respectful environment.

  • Any inappropriate, abusive, or disrespectful behaviour will not be tolerated

  • We reserve the right to refuse or terminate services if necessary

 

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The most current version will always be available on request or on our website.
